Custom care desired to be on television with a new ad. The budget was tight so we started with the client’s radio branding as our base. The client supplied a PDF document of the caveman and women for art work.
So we applied a little TLC, creativity, and brought this client to Television.

I was fortunate to tell this story of how Generations Program can make a difference in the lives of these young folks.

Directed/Produced/Edited a 30 sec. branding ad for the Corus Radio group. Consulted with Program Directors to create a fresh unique creative for each market at a cost saving to the radio group, and a source of new revenue for our division.
We produced and edited this launch promo for Calgary’s CHQR Radio’s helicopter. This new promotional video and their daily news reports extended their brand to new audiences that were not aware of the helicopter and the frequency of reports.
Working together with the mayor’s staff, and Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson, We created a number of short video vignettes called “Mayor Reads”. These children’s stories were designed to raise the Mayor’s profile within the community, and to promote literacy.
This story, The Road to Afghanistan provides an honest and moving perspective on military service. We felt this book would not only provide some insight but also nurture a sense of pride. The surprise ending challenges our preconceptions about who a soldier is.

I was fortunate to work with Roger Parent, Professor at the University of Alberta and edit 5 half hour documentaries dealing the Semiotics of Cultural Conflict. This series was produced in french & english with two versions of dubbed audio tracks. I designed the intro graphics, and all editing was done using Final Cut Pro.
